With 12 showing artists, the art ranges from vibrant
canvases that burst with colour, intricacy detailed realistic work that you will be in
awe of, to thought-provoking mixed media artworks and abstracts that challenge
perceptions, Riverview Artists aim to captivate and inspire.
The Riverview Artists are a group of 12 local Calgary artists and was first organized in 1987. Our exhibits feature approximately 80 paintings per show and the group plans about 7 events each year. The variety of styles and techniques are diverse so that each show provides a new look at the unique artistic directions being pursued by each of the artists.
Riverview Artists is an incorporated non-profit organization designed to promote an appreciation of art as part of the culture of our city. Artists are juried in as new RVA members when a position becomes available.
