In the Shape of Thoughts, an international online solo painting exhibition by Cena Hoban opens on May 31, and will continue for two months until July 31, 2024.
"In the Shape of Thoughts" unveils the ineffable and transformative power of watercolor. Cena Hoban's delicate brushstrokes evoke an ethereal realm where emotions and dreams coalesce. Each piece is a meditative exploration, capturing fleeting moments of introspection and wonder. This exhibition invites viewers to journey through the abstract, experiencing the intangible beauty of thoughts made visible through the fluid dance of color and light.

Artist:
Cena is a mixed media artist with a background in teaching, spirituality, and counseling. Although not formally trained in art, she has always been interested in color, paper, paint, art supplies, and design, with a big emphasis on color.
Nature has been a primary source of inspiration for color, line, and composition. No matter the time spent in nature, she is always beckoned to photograph color and image together in unusual ways. These pictures are regularly used as inspiration in creating works in mixed media and collage.
In each piece Cena has created in the past three years, there has been an incorporated message of loving kindness using asemic writing (using unreadable text and image). These messages really help connect to the piece and potential owner, whether known or not.
Cena’s goal for whoever views her art is that they connect with the shapes, lines, and colors, in such a way that they will be inspired and relate to a story within their own heart.
