How are tropical insects, Ceaușescu's era model airplanes and galactic utopias related? At first glance, the seemingly unconnected are linked by the blue sky, the shades of blue of cyanotype. In our planet everything is connected, interwoven, everything merges from one into another. Everything is energy that carries information. The time layers of history and the visions of the future exist simultaneously. Our (political) past influences the global economic and ecological present. The exhibition showcases the artist's paintings and cyanotypies, where she transitions from abstract geometry to biomorphic forms of representation, searching for the connection between these two different modes of artistic expression. The latest works were inspired by the modern history of Romania, as well as a recent trip to a tropical island in the Indian Ocean.
