In July Partners Gallery is showing new work by Rachel Binah entitled "Black & White — in Color."
Deeply depressed and anxious about the state of our national politics, Binah explores the many colors, hues and depths of black: the purples and blues, the browns and greys, even the reds and greens, as well as variations in white. The pieces are made of hand-sewn elements of paper, fabric, paint, twine and found materials. The artist intuitively weaves structure out of chaos
