The National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) is pleased to announce "Grand Visions: We Are Here", a juried exhibition of works by women artists celebrating the centennial of women's suffrage.
NAWA was founded in 1889 as the first established professional women's fine art organization in the United States. The Association celebrates and encourages contemporary and emerging women artists, honoring the continuing contribution of women to the history of American culture and art.
The exhibit will take place at the Grand Central Library at 135 East 46th Street, from March 1 to May 29, 2020. Library hours are 10am-8pm Monday-Thursday, 10am-6pm Friday, and 10am-5pm Saturday.
A meet and greet with the artists will be held on Saturday, March 14, from 2 to 4pm, and will feature a special presentation by award-winning author Penny Colman on her new book, "The Vote: Women's Fierce Fight."
